Never had any training on IPS you pick it up as you go along!
must admit i don't know how this will be affected by the agreement though as it clearly states, you will not be asked to do anything you are not qualified or have not been trained to do, so i don't know the scope of that, if it is not down in your 318 then you are quite right to refuse it, you should know what is in your 318 as you signed for the duty, hope you did anyway, but as things are going who knows!

The part timers situation, in our office seem to do as they please, most not in the union and most not doing the job properly, taking out there cars etc

Buy yourself a neck brace, then get stuck in. :left:
They call me iron arms down my place cause of my (when i get the urge to do it) sorting.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I'm Part Time, I know I don't have to do any sorting on the Primary, but I always sort out my miss-sorts there. Been told I'm the only part timer who does this, lol.

I know I don't have to do this, but it's the only way to learn.

Even with 400 odd streets?
You've lived a sheltered life - what do you do for 40 hours?

Get sat down and get sorting!

I'd be quite happy to take a test on the IPS if I could watch the LM do it first. :whistle
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
