Good grief is he actually suggesting we dont walk fast enough?

An “easy” Tuesday yesterday and i got home barely with energy for a shower to wash away the ridiculously vast amount of sweat i was covered in.

My iphone tells me i walked 10.4 miles, climbed 43 flights of stairs and walked 21’620 steps.

We made about an hour of time but if we’d have used trolleys and walked at a normal pace rather than pretty much speed walking (yes we’re idiots but hey ho) we could easily have gone over our time.

Now maybe deliveries aren’t profitable and Simon obviously needs to look at ways to change that, but clearly he has no idea of the realities of what we go through on delivery, 5 days a week and 47/8 weeks of the year. From 30+ degrees in summer to freezing winters.

Come and spend one week with me on delivery and then tell me to my face you think i should be doing more!!!!!

Does the guy not have any clue about the fact that most of us on delivery are still (stupidly) in job and finish mode and are pretty much working at a very fast rate almost everyday . . . sometimes without even realising that we are, because its just ingrained in the culture and new starts get dragged along with it.

Do not even suggest that loading time and walking pace and time at door step needs improving on, because you’re seriously going down the wrong road in doing that!!! If anything you'll just do the almost impossible and make us SLOW down!

who for? 20 yr olds 60yr olds, fit blokes, athletes, blokes with chronic gout, or prosthetics? they've got a 5 hour delivery span at ours. but it takes some people 5.5 hours 6hrs or even longer.
