Our duty finish times are 3-4pm Saturday now!Surreypostie wrote: ↑11 Aug 2022, 13:25We work until after 1pm on saturdays already, we used to be home by 9am saturdays and had these same discussions then. Fact, they can change your contract with the right amount of notice and they will. One of the things I am convinced that will happen is our times will change, it has happened ever since I joined the job.

Re: Late Saturdays
Later starts for me are the most egregious change they want to impose. Just doesn’t add up. If they want to cover LATs because we are now a parcel company then I’m sure they can recruit staff who would prefer a later shift pattern. Making us do walks 2-3 hours later than we are now will be a disaster in all seasons.

Yes you will likely miss 3pm football... If you dont want to work later Saturdays maybe start thinking about another career.

Re: Late Saturdays
Saturdays have long since been ruined. Used to be my second favourite day of the week after Tuesday. Once it became 'a normal working day' and the pouch boxes were condemned to rust my enthusiasm never recovered.
The machine stops.
