The chances of a 10% rise are complete zero. If you cannot get more than a 2% rise without big sacrifices then that puts a 10% rise - 5 times that - into perspective.

Yes strikes may go on, but they will get weaker with each one, not helped by the media putting the fear of god in everyone with mortgages/debts regarding interest rates, energy bills, food prices etc.
