Just thinking how many post person's, that work in cities, but live way out as they cannot afford properties in the cities. Will have to commute in Rush hour going to work and going home.How many with young children will no longer be able to pick their children from school, if 8am - 4pm comes in.

Makes you wonder how non RM workers cope, but somehow they make adjustments and somehow survive. No its not right but thats the way the western world has gone.

I also have kids to feed and a mortgage. I also need every single penny. What I also have is morals, dignity and respect for my colleagues who are not only doing what they believe is the right thing to do for themselves but also the right thing to do for everyone!! Their colleagues AND families!!!! If you need every penny now how much would you need them if RM get their way and shaft you because mark my words, you'd be even more financially in trouble then!!!!!!

The ones that voted no are the 40 minute early brigade and trainee wannabe managers.

Or the ones with kids to feed that need every single penny. A lot of the newer staff are not financially stable and as much as theyd like to strike arent in a postion too.

God help them in the future then. I hope they never go sick,need overtime and someone can pick their kids up from school for free as they haven’t finished.

Were the non RM workers, on a 6am- 2pm shift and then told that they could be changed to a 8am-4pm shift. Many have chosen this job for the hours. My children are no longer at school and I don't live far from my office, but I am thinking of others.A shame not more of us think about others,
