Door 2 Doors
Who’s responsibility is it to throw these off? Is it the person that throwes the Mail off or the part time 26.5hr postie?

Re: Door 2 Doors
Technically it's the managers responsibility to make sure they get thrown off and allocate time for someone to do it.

Payment is pro-rata.
Part time worker should not be prepping door to doors for full time workers. Especially for full time workers on unrelated duties.

Re: Door 2 Doors
It's the person who is responsible for prepping the dutys job, d2ds are part of the mix of items that are due to be delivered per day, unfortunately they often get left out, you may have noticed that piss poor management is one of royal mail's problems.

Re: Door 2 Doors
No time to prep these if you’re part time. They should allocate you more hours if they want them done.

Re: Door 2 Doors
D2D are supposed to be prepped on a Monday and delivered throughout the week as far as I'm aware.
'New Way of Working' (April 2020?) + 'Pathway to Change' (February 2021?).
It's not really that difficult.
Maybe, if your duties not properly prepped on a Monday inform the management ?
I'm the only one in my office who preps D2D on a Monday, most do it as unpaid overtime on a Saturday afternoon,, and others through the week as per pre-pandemic and against the above instructions.
Its up to the managers to make sure that people are doing what they're supposed to be doing and when they're supposed to be doing it and how ?

Re: Door 2 Doors
You would have no chance of throwing all our D2D's in on a Monday. 2 and a half thousand delivery points, it would take over 2 hours and that's before you throw a letter in. A 5 hour plus delivery plus breaks etc, the time just isn't there!
"Just take it out and see how you go......."
