terrace here new member ,Shrewsbury office.20 yrs service.
Voting yes for industrial action doesn't mean an all out strike as many people think ,just means we are lawfully prepared to take what ever action is required to make Royal Mail take sit up and take notice.Don't forget Royal Mail have already turned down the option to meet with a third party to sort out this pay deal and connected strings.
Leighton has a track record of confrontation with unions, but he hasn't dealt with as many union members before.
According to his DVD strikes are a 70's thing,he's like kiid he iif he doesn't get his way will throw his toys out of the pram and blame any failure on the workers
All postal workers should be aware of his aims, especially from a man who has at least 10 directorships he has nothing to lose financially.
We have!

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
