I believe this rumour started on Workplace this morning and has been now confirmed by the managers. The plan is to prioritise tracked and flood the offices that are scheduled to become hubs with managers and agency.
Have you a link to that if possible, I don't use the app I use desktop and I 'seem' to miss stuff.
And the search feature on there is pants.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Thanks, I rem that one-although I do think he needs to get out more that guy.

So how would this work.
You close all the offices apart from parcel hubs and adjoining DO's, so NOT MANY can get into work, how would they know who is a striker or not.
I tried guv but you closed the office so you godda pay me.

Just a thread with a postie from Skipton saying he's heard that only hubs will be open and all non Sunday offices will not even be open on strike days.
Managers, agency and crossers of picket lines all under one roof. I guess they think it will be more productive.
Yeah I meant why 2yearpostie was willing to cross a line at his office but not parcel hub, the hub will be more “sterilised” surely as no one knows who’s who or what

We are waiting on further instructions from HQ. I suspect they offer to bus the strike breakers into the hub offices. We will need strong pickets and support from neighbouring offices to help 'spot' and persuade any from these smaller outlying offices from coming in. It's going to get messy make no mistakes.

I can't see this-even strikers would want to be bussed into a hub just to be awkward! They can't do everyone.

Wait, it’s a potential strategy to not strike on arrival at office, get bussed to parcel hub, then all go on strike when there and have a mad party get on it with a big gang?

…
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
If true it's a clever strategy.
Overrun the parcel hubs with agency staff, strike breakers and managers.
Make it look like business as usual and the strike isn't solid.
Close the other DOs or even open them but just shove a line manager in there and don't put any work through it so not much point in picketing, people don't bother showing up at the gate so it looks like nobody gives a s**t.
Give people who want to work the option of turning up at their parent office and prepping D2D all day or going to the parcel hub but don't really give a s**t whether they do or don't, they probably won't need them anyway.
"A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We have detailed contingency plans in place for industrial action, which include mechanisms to prioritise items, including critical government mailings, NHS letters and medical prescriptions wherever we can.
That quote is from the below thread with RM assuring people their important NHS letters etc would get through, I think it was obviously lies as they appear to have no intention of touching the mail on strike days only tracked items and specials, unless I'm mistaken and the army of agency/non striking colleagues will be tasked with searching through the mail to find anything that fits the criteria.
