Only parcel hubs to open strike days
I believe this rumour started on Workplace this morning and has been now confirmed by the managers. The plan is to prioritise tracked and flood the offices that are scheduled to become hubs with managers and agency.

Re: Only parcel hubs to open strike days
So are they going to cover all the units connected to the parcel hubs, or just their own local area?
I wonder what agency workers think about being used as strike breakers, as I assume they eventually hope to work permanently alongside posties?

As many of the associated offices they can I guess. Spoke to one agency guy who started this week. They are asked how they feel about working during IA as part of the process. I feel a bit sorry for them as agency work sucks but we have a few weeks now to talk to them and explain our dispute. If they have a soul some of them may choose not to work on the strike days I suppose.

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Can I highlight a feature here. the 'add foe' option on a users profile page will hide that persons comments. It still shows that they have posted but takes an extra step to click to expand that comment.
Dont know if the admins can add a plug in to allow users to be completely ignored but is entirely feasible to exist as a browser add on for those on desktop.

Those options have existed here and there, but as an old forumer, I'll tell you now, you'll end up wondering who the f**k people are replying to, or you'll see half their stuff in quotes anyway. The foe/friend system tends to be the best balance in the end, you know who posted, and can, if needed, click to see what they said this time.gfte wrote: ↑10 Aug 2022, 20:59Can I highlight a feature here. the 'add foe' option on a users profile page will hide that persons comments. Without going too much off topic-which happened a lot with his posts-his posts now have to be okayed by us before they go live.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
