Curiously, we had our night duties removed (only 4) and they’ve now classed our office as having a full structural revision 🤔

Whats the difference between a table top revision and a structural one?,
In a table top revision the rep and manager f**k the office up on their own.
In a structural revision a planner is brought in to help f**k the office up even more.
So it's just a question of how big a fuckup it will be, gotcha.

"We have also made changes to the revision processes to simplify them to enable us to do them more quickly."

Wow so they've simplified the process in order to f**k it up even quicker than last time.

They've still not said how it's going to work with the large that are supposedly going to still go to the original office if it's a rural or firms walk. We'll e sorting all the large to the DO it's proper to or to the parcel hubs, we won't be doing half and half. They'll need to arrange for either the hubs to send the ones for rural and firms walks to the DOs or the DOs will have to send vans to collect them from the hubs

Yeah, it will be total s**t and doomed to fail.

But the CWU rep will 'advise' you to vote (if you get one) for it.

This could be a blessing in disguise, loose anything bigger than a shoebox, even if they make the walks longer, we still have a start & finish time, can only do your best, deliver what you can, see you tomorrow, another day :thumbup

I had just 8 large parcels Monday, take those away I might save a couple of mins .
Incidentally the Lat person misdelivered 2 parcels in 2 days for 2 different people on my round .
Amazon also made an error for one of those customers, the only person they trust is me it seems , terrible service

Pick a thread, any thread, especially the RMCtv ones, try this one for starters...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The thing that nobody is mentioning is that it’s a complete contradiction to Annualised hours and the productivity bonus

Either you have set shorter hours in the summer for example or you don’t

Either you get a bonus for not failing anything as an office or you don’t

So to say everyone must stay out and finish what’s there completely contradicts the aforementioned

In short - all three of those proposals can’t be in place

They can’t take an hour contracted time a day off you in the summer, whilst insisting you need to finish what’s there however long it takes and whilst also paying bonuses to offices which “go the extra mile”

They can’t force you to go the extra mile if they are paying bonuses out to those offices which do
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

No, thats what our com has told, the hubs arent getting extra people, vans or Pdas, so I have no idea how they are planning to staff it.

I expect what will happen is that your way of working will change as drastically as those in delivery offices have.

So you'll be sending the parcels to the appropriate office accordingly, not continuing as you've been doing.

Saying you don't have enough staff or enough room or enough vans or whatever won't wash. Your office will have to adapt.

You can console yourself with the fact that the DOs your office serve will certainly be getting out even later!

We're well understaffed as it is, we have loads of casuals everynight/ Apart from a half dozen and people transferredd in from other offices, they've not replaced staff who've left for many years..

Larger MCs might have the room, smaller MCs certainly won't.

You can dream on if you think we'll be comparing the address with a list of walks, we've not got the time to be doing that, we struggle to clear as it is.

It's either you collect them from the local hub or the hub sends them to you, your choice
