Re: Medical exemption for Sunday work?
The problem is that the CWU are still banging the 'pulling up the ladder' 'two tier workforce' drum. So what about all those bodies we have employed with Sundays in their contract? I have a new entrant who dutifully signed up then came to ask me to go thru the ballot stuff with him. When we got to the Sunday working part we both looked at each other sheepishly knowing where the conversation was heading. Very hard to explain that away.

Re: Medical exemption for Sunday work?
The Q and A was a riot
When someone asked if they are being discriminated against because they are in the 75% of their office that drives, the answer was ‘don’t worry, if the non driver WANTS to they can come out in a van share on a Sunday’
Totally avoiding the issue.
Between staff that can’t/won’t drive for RM, religious, childcare, and health reasons, the 1 in 4 Sundays would quickly turn into pretty much every Sunday for some.

People already work on Sunday.
Do you want those duties cancelled?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
