Team - I don't remember any "booing" - but no doubt the atmosphere wasn't good - but as the CWU Rep said to me, "it has been a lot worse in the past" - ouch! - today was my third visit to the Peterborough DO - accepting today might have been an off day - I cannot imagine it is a fun place to work - it shouldn't be that way - but, the team all agree the new electric vans are a good thing.
....I must say - a big thank you to the members of the team - that came up for a chat - and the one's that said it is great to work at Royal Mail in Peterborough.
Time to reflect on what to do - I don't believe we can leave this office - as it is.

BTW - do you feel that a union - posting that "booing" the CEO of a company - is appropriate behaviour - and aligned with the societal norms in 2022?

As I said previously in this thread I Knew there would be a reaction from him, his narcissistic mind compels him too. Anyone working in that Peterborough office best stay squeaky clean. Definitely make sure you all do your van checks etc going forward because he’s coming for you.

Probably not the the best idea to visit a MC while in the middle of a seriously bitter IR dispute. What did he expect? Actually we can all guess accurately enough!!
