Second ballot wording

Post by Jack1960 »

I may have missed it somewhere but do we know rhe wording on the second ballot yet.
It just seems a bit vague if we are voting against something with no specific detail, or is it on the principle of change without an agreement.
Yours puzzled of South London.

The wording on the second agreement is

2022 Dispute relating to Royal Mail group breaking the Pathway to Change and associated National Agreements.

Couldn't we put that on the pay ballot ,as now i've been told we can't strike until the second ballot is finished.

No as we had to activate the 4 week DPR legal process on Royal Mail breaching the Pathway to Change Agreement which was after we started the ballot on pay.

We can give 2 weeks notice of strike action on 3rd August as the strike will then take place after the second ballot closes.

Its Royal Mail and in particular Simon and his cronies that are running out of time. Admittedly, they have had plenty of time to give us all a decent pay rise and set aside a lot of the nonsense strings that they have proposed. We just need to be patient and stand our ground.

With all due respect it's not Simon or his cronies that are struggling to pay their bills it is our members.

This dispute cannot be allowed to trundle along at snails pace into October /November through to January like all the previous disputes.

There is an urgent need to help members now that even Terry recognised right from the start, the same old faces cannot be allowed to hijack this dispute to protect their own little corner of the country.

There is a pay dispute to be resolved right now if not last week. A no strings pay rise was the promise not a pay deal.

How do you resolve the second ballot issue? A commitment from Royal Mail that they wont enact executive action? Thats not worth the paper its written on surely.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
