Good result but I've never understood why the turnout is never higher when it comes to the amount of money that you will take home every week if nothing else it would show r m that we are all engaged in the process

I’d imagine most of the Nays or Abstentions will be worried about not being paid while on strike, which is understandable.

But the majority of the opinion has overwhelmingly been that fighting for your rights is more important than a few days without pay.

Loads in my depot got theirs late, more annoying as they were seeing others go through. There were definitely some big old delays in processing somewhere (trying not to sound too conspiratorial)

Good result. Even if that 23% had voted the result would still sit favourably for us. I think many non voters were lightly just either fed up and already leaving, lost in post, admin error or have lost faith and are in denial about potential better pay or T&Cs. But we shall never know.
