Message from Ricky McAulay - Unite/CMA Suspends Strike Action

We are very pleased Unite members have voted to accept a range of proposals regarding the Delivering for the Future structure.

Planned strike action from Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 July has now been called off, although the Unite/CMA industrial action ballot remains live until 22 December.

Managers who were planning to support the operation during industrial action no longer need to attend their allocated delivery unit.

Thank you to those who have already completed their training and their site familiarisation. If you haven’t yet completed your online training, please do your best to do so - it is an important part of our general business resilience and contingency planning.

We look forward to working with Unite/CMA as we implement these proposals and move forward with the reinvention of Royal Mail for the next generations.
The usual cringeworthy pantomime played out by those muppets, absolute laughing stock.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Interesting to know if Dave and Terry have asked the CMA to respect our dispute?

To-Gary Sassoon-Hales : CMA Representative
as a union rep are you having chats with your members to respect our strikes/picket lines ect as unions usually do to each other?
