Just stood there! Bold as brass!

I mean, for fooks sake. He wasn't doing anything! Not working or any work related stuff.

Just chatting!

These walk posties have it sooooo easy!

How do you know it wasn't his mum or another relative? I take it you do your entire shift in silence???????

It was pretty obvious ol zorro was on a wind up.Thats what us posties do isnt it? Well we do it all day long in my DO and the atmosphere and banter is the best part of the job.I had a great delivery today, fresh air ,exercise, i got back to the office and said to the DOM "did i really get paid for doing that today" Alright he looked at me as if i was insane, but there you go. I was just suprised he was still there :Very Happy

I, cannot believe that with all the changes that Royal Mail are trying to introduce that we are still arguing amongst ourselves, they must cheer every time they visit this site.talk about divide and conquer!,we are doing it for them.Ive done 29 years delivery and mail centre distribution and you work hard in both areas, our own site seperates us at a time when we need to stand together, unless we stop bitching about each other and unite we will all have time to talk to old ladies and drink tea,.....before we head off to the Dole queue

:Very Happy

Zorro has got it bang to rights. Let's be honest.

And, it gets worse! On my walk, there's an old lady who looks after the twin two year old girls from next door. When they see me they come out and say "hello postman" and wave. I stand and wave back! On disclosing this information I fully expect to be dismissed with immediate effect. This is just the sort of nonsense we need to cut out to ensure public service is a thing of the past and those valuable few seconds are put towards serving the DSA customer.

(A VERY big  )

I have to confess I am just as bad at Christmas I gave cards to the 3 shops that I use as safe drops and always say thanks when I pick up the last bag from them. I guess I am for the chop as well.

I expect she had asked him about a parcel she has to send and he was advising her about the difference between Recorded and Special Delivery and their costs.
