Don't be worrying about reducing your wage to half pay....try claiming Employment Support Allowance through DWP...our HR dept.[Tel.No. on your payslip]should be able to help you...basically as long as you are up to date with your National Insurance Stamp for last two years you are given an allowance of approx. 74 quid weekly on top of 'alf wages, i should know as i had 9 months off sick ,comes in handy,Hope you feeing better or at least can 'manage' your pain ,your health is more important than money,take care

Have you tried taking up swimming?

Also be careful with the anti inflams. Yes they ease the pain, but longterm wreck your guts.
