You do wonder what it will take in this country to get people up off their knees.

Petrol at £2 a litre should have us blockading the f***ing refineries.

Politicians lying, cheating, stealing, groping, molesting should have us finishing off what Guy Fawkes started.

A Prime Minister who holds piss ups in the middle of a pandemic, doesn't know how many kids he's got and tries to get his mistress a top job in return for a BJ in his office should have us throwing a rope over the nearest lamp post.

But no... we worry about losing a couple of days strike pay and moan about the weather.

It's pathetic, as a country we're that guy at the back of the fight holding the jackets.

I think Simon Thompson has given away too much of the companies profits in dividends. When we get 6% pay rise with no strings and he gives away even more dividends in September there will be no money left. In 2023 the company will be in a real mess created by Simon Thompson. The only option will be redundancies and contraction of the estate.

As long as it takes!

We can't be beaten on this one or the job will be finished for everyone.

I have been through many many strikes in my day (Been in job since 80's) and all have hurt but been worth it to try and stop the belittling of the job, money and staff.

Not going to be easy no one one wants to lose pay but it's something we have to be prepared to do for months if need be

In my early 20s I got kicked out the family home by my Mam


I lived and slept in my car for a week and ate junk food. I was signing on at the Jobcentre every 2 weeks for JSA/Income Support on something like £40 a week at the time.

It taught me a valuable lesson
