I've marked my cross in the big fat YES box & it's in the envelope, if i remember I'll post nearer the 19th, I do wonder whats the point Royal Mail always get there way, empty letterboxes, collect parcels from the customer, take photos on the doorstep, happily I'm the other side of 50 & one day I'm not going to wake up anymore to D2D's, 16 mile walks & aching bones, think I'm already beaten :Boo hoo!

Fooling yourself there. Given that little of any importance comes through the mail now (and not even regular deliveries for what does) and there are many (and cheaper) other parcel deliveries, most wouldn't even notice we were on strike.
It's not about the impact on customers at the door though, this isn't 1979 and we're not owned by the government , it's about potentially losing long term contracts and shareholder confidence.

I do agree though that the idea of striking for weeks at a time is nonsense.
We would just starve ourselves back to work within a fortnight.

'If I remember...' ???? Why not get it posted now? Yes, ultimately there will have to be a negotiated compromise but the more YES votes
that are in and counted will (hopefully) show RM the depth of feeling and give our representatives greater ability to get a reasonable deal.

Fill out your ballot paper in private.

Do not post pictures or videos of yourself filling in your ballot on the internet

Do not give RM any reason to use the courts against us, again

Edit: Don’t forget to return your completed ballot.

Mark your ballot with a “X”

From what I've read on a Faceache postie chat group, someone on Workplace posted a photo of their completed ballot paper... :arrrghhh

I'd also say probably safer not to even share a photo of the envelope containing the completed ballot paper. Just post it in the postbox!

How exactly would this scam work?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Maybe it's this CWU 'Get The Vote Out' malarkey: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=105494

You might have given CWU your phone number in the past when you joined or for something else.
