RM continually try to claim that we get very well paid and that we should be grateful for that and be thankful for anything they “give” us.

Work at Asda for £11 per hour or walk 6+miles a day in all weathers with a bag on your back for £12 per hour - I know which job I would choose , it’s a no brainer for me , I would prefer Asda.

It’s RM management(Simon and Zareena) who 10 months ago on workspace Actually compared us to ‘Doris’ from Asda in relation to our wages and implied we should be grateful.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Postman

Although I was out on the exact rate, my point was it was RM(Zareena Brown) who compared us to Asda employees around a year ago but now they are getting better % pay rises she has started comparing us with the “nurses” who are only been offered 3%ish.

The leadership of RM are at best “Duplicitous” or outright liars - I’m not sure which 🤔🤔🤔??? - only joking 😁😁😁

How much do Asda employees need to pay out per year for things?

Being a Postman I have annual costs....

Footwear/Socks.

RM footwear is inadequate. I pay £100 per year on trainers.

Pain Medications.

For all the aches and pains. I pay approx £30 per year on medications.

Massages

I pay £150 per year to fix my knotted, worn out leg muscles.

True. I also eat more than I would if I had a less physical job. On top of this Asda employees get 10% off their food shop. I believe we can get 5% off at certain supermarkets if we use some top up system. Does anyone use it?

Yes, through RM Bundle, rates vary between different supermarkets and occasionally the rates are bumped up for say a week
(which you can then spend whenever you want), at time of writing Morrisons 5%, ASDA 4%. Sainsburys 5%, Tesco 4%

He won't be pushing a HCT 10 miles around the streets to deliver them either.
