Well hope he can still feed them when they take it back in august
They're not taking it back in August.
They're paying it in advance up to August.

can't wait. This really is helping
Hope your joking
I'm just joking. The offer is an insult and won't help much at all. Also it won't even be £200 for part timers. I never expected the offer to be this low.

Ive been asking on other forums im on what people think about our dispute and they really arent bothered.

All most people want is a DPD style follow the delivery driver around via an app and 1hr delivery windows.

They really dont care about letters at all, so I think the best action is to get the uso suspended, take letters where you have parcels Mon-Fri and do a letter clen up Saturday for addresses that havent parcels that week along with premium parcels, then parcels Sunday.

Most of this I'm not bothered about letters bollocks smacks of bullshit contrary posturing. No one is bothered about letters until they don't get one they're waiting for. Then the pr**s can't wait to scream about it to all the other people who are similarly supposedly uninterested in letters. Then there follows a great wailing and a gnashing of teeth followed by a photo of some dumb f**k with their arms folded in the Kettering Gazette.

So why do they all moan about missing appointments due to non delivery of said letters ffs.

I had one women make an official complaint cause she hadn’t had any letters for 4 days. She even contacted the local housing association as she thought her Mail was going through the house next door which was empty. My delivery is 700 calls only a small percentage of those get regular parcels. So potentially on a Saturday I would be going to every house on my shortest day of the week.

You can't just suspend a uso just like that.its part law people must have a means of communication, royal mail should be privileged for having this honour but for money and profit there trying to distance themselves from it.so if they had there way it would be f*ck it cherry pick only profitable areas rebrand as a parcel courier company and do away with Royal mail as is.

Well, if RM want to get rid of letters and become a parcel company then they should just say it and let the government know....

The government can take over letter deliveries as it is of national importance and become Public again. Maybe they'd pay us right and we can work for them delivering letters instead of for RM delivering parcels, as RM seemingly want to become like DPD.

Perhaps not in correct thread but the preceding posts are maybe linked.

Thoughts on the following.

I'm not convinced.

Speaking with a manager after my shift yesterday, walking towards cars together, he said he would not be surprised if the company is in some shape or form gearing for a sale of some type... either whole or partial.

He would not elaborate and I didn't push it.

He thinks the demands from RM, as stated previously, are all part of the negotiations' tactic.

As I say, thoughts? :whistle
