The job is grim already without posties moaning at others for mistakes.

In the door near 15 years. Never done a hours ips. Couldn’t tell you half the streets my depot covers. Part time.

Myself & a handful of FT’s do the IPS at ours.

It is not uncommon for PT’s to be ducking & weaving between us ,pulling a couple of letters out of their pigeon holes as we sort due to the post-revision start times. Some days they start only 10-mins later than the FT’s but don’t or can’t do sorting due to their contract!

Very much this! I noticed a load this morning, looked at the idiot board to find the street I needed was down as being on a route I know, and know the street isn't actually part of!

My f**king van share partner mis-sorts the mail on our frames daily. It's grim!!

The brainless revisions destroyed any sensible sorting to duties , nothing makes sense anymore !

Here's a different scenario I can sort packets into pairings no problem..but...put me on ips and I have no idea which streets the individual pairings do so I have to use the board...

Shambles at ours. After the latest revision, some ips time was required to be done by certain duties. Lasted a few days until said duties refused to do it anymore.
People regularly turn in 10 minutes late who should be on ips.
Hiding on frames until the weak a$$ manager tells them do the ips they should be doing.
Disappearing off ips as and when they choose as the manager turns a blind eye.
Ends up being done by a core of 6/8 people, half of which need to look at route list for every letter/parcel although being in the business for 5+ years
