Regardless of whether the UKIP party is potty, dangerous or both they are at least correct in saying that RM is a natural monopoly. When Postcon came into play the price of a first class stamp was 19-21p. Come April it will be 38p. A price increase of 17-19p within 3 years. How in hell does that equate to meeting the needs of the customers.
The only thing postcon has managed is to keep the one price anywhere in the UK. It hasnt managed to introduce choice in the delivery area and whilst there is choice in collecting & sorting it is still painfully more expensive than before those imbeciles at postcon came along.
