Seems Pullinger has decided not to stand.

Seems he was dipping his toe in the water and seeing how much support was about. Maybe not enough. Personally I think Dave Ward would have won convincingly anyway

i'm not sure but i think all officers of the cwu had to declare candidature by today although us normal posties can still challenge !!!

Personally I think Dave's not done too bad, considering the kick in the ribs he got at the beginning of taking over from Keggie (the NO vote).
This Unions come a long way since then and after last years action I think the members of this Union can hold their heads high.

However we need to do something on a national level to make Leighton stand by his words that bullying will not be tolerated in Royal Mail.
Leighton only seems to be interested in stamping out bullying when it's Postmen & women doing the bullying. Lets see managment bullies sacked rather than being just shifted round the country.
