Royal mail employees should have their own anthem. A song that sums up Royal Mail & the union perfectly is a song by Pink, called, "What About Us". Listen to the lyrics carefully, sums it up perfectly.

Your a little bit wrong its not the same as past negotiations this time the union are asking for a rise only,to know your past is to know your future etc i know what your saying but this time its more make or break for the union as theres not gona be many term and conditions left for the union to exist if they balls this up.

I agree we need a no strings pay rise but it won’t happen my wife is a specialist Nurse and she’s not even getting 3% so we won’t get an inflation busting pay rise and controversial but in my opinion anybody starting Royal Mail now and have to work Sundays is fine as they will be signing up for it when they start

If Royal Mail pull through and implement the changes and pitiful pay rise then so many Posties will move onto something better paid and less exhausting. On top of that, anyone looking for work is even less likely to want to be a Postie due to having to work both Saturday and Sunday.

I would like to be a Postie for another 20+ years, but that's looking less and less likely by the day with the changes that will potentially come in and with us heading towards minimum wage poverty.

The CWU need to get their comms guys in action not like last time where they failed,they need to get the message across in main stream media not just facebook and whatsapp,we need the BBC ITV,SKY and as many Mps on board,time to step up and get to work,the train union have no problem in this and they only represent 40000

Did the nurse have to compromise or strike just to get a pay rise like aiden said they are completley diffrent company's,bet she's more an hour than we are.

[*]heard mentioned one year pay deal no strings attached at inflation rate but would rather have a 3 year no string attached at say 5% as will be back here in a year guaranteed as usual
