So do you have to stay on a duty for 12 months we have been told its 6 months, also if you come off a duty voluntarily to become a reserve do you then have to be a reserve for 12 months? As I say sorry about questions

I'm pretty sure that according to the way forward agreement that if you pick a duty in an office repick then you're able to pick another that becomes available regardless of time elapsed, however also in the way forward it says if you pick a duty (not as a result of a repick) then you're expected to stay on it for 12 months.

Oh yeah that other point of suitability over seniority for a bog standard duty is bollox from the manager involved.

There are no roles where suitability and seniority do not play a part.

It's just considered that we're all suitable for the delivery role (possibly debatable).

For any other role it's suitable then seniority so if there are two candidates with the correct training for the role the most senior gets it.
Unless it's ring fenced....
