Two questions.
1. Is Arthur really a CWU rep or is he a manager (man or mouse)? Either way he needs a swift kick up the a***. Stop sucking up and do the job you were elected to do.
2. 10.00-11.00 Meal break? He gets a full hour, our full timers who actually work for a living only get 40 minutes.

This document is pure Leighton Bull****. Unfortunately the number of managers who will admit that will be in single figures. (In fact the number is so low that your lino will be able to count it.)

I'm so glad I'm not a manager, though I have managerial experience in another industry. We used to get garbage like this on a weekly basis, some believed it like gospel, some of us threw it in the bin. Guess who was first out of the door.

This seems to have been written to inspire the worried managers (who are presumably having serious doubts about the proposed changes) and at least it tells them not to take hostile comments personally. They don't want any more trouble on those lines.

If the changes to a postie's morning were to include an hour of watching Jerry Springer instead of a few minutes in the canteen with the RM screen, the flexible workload might conceivably be easier to cope with. :roll:

Truly shocking that they are lumping people into such catagories...we are mere specimens to them.

However personally i feel im in the "do job, go home, forget i was ever there" catagory.

Screw flexible working. Im never going over my time for them...EVER.

It's going to be hard for the scr*ws not to take it a bit personal lets be honest most are fixated that the job is easy and you should be working your ass off
With the scr*ws at mine operating a family $ friends outlook and come hell or high water (excuse the pun in present weather) they will victimise / intimidate you if you aren't playing to there tune !!!

guess that put me firmly in the try not will not group then ? could this form of document be adjudjed to be somewhat inflamatory not forgeting it might border on some form of harrasment ?

Its worrying that this document is doing the rounds...as they guy above says, it looks like managers are actively being encouraged to intimidate and harass the work force into "giving in" to anything RM bosses want to implement...

I dont like the idea of being 'branded' a sabotuer by my managers any less than being branded with stereotypes.

This sort of behind the scenes branding bullshit has to be illegal surely?

Anyone know when this 'flexibility' nonsense is due to go national officially?

Feb = trials
Mar = analysis
Apr = slavery

Curiously RM already Know the outcome of the trials have done the analysis , and have produced a lenghty guide of detailed implementation instructions presented to management this week.
So if there are still any posties out there who believed RM had any genuine intention of considering the CWU input on trials, sorry. Surprised our negotiators and executive failed to spot it coming
