As the increase is applied from the 11th April the first month does not have the full increase applied. You will find the full amount will appear on your May pensions going forward.

As usual Capita are slow off the mark with the increase notifications. I have another issue with them over not paying the increase on all of my RMSPS pension. There is a technicality that if you reached state pension age before April 2016 they do not pay increase on the Pre88 GMP part of your RMSPS pension. If you reach state pension age after April 2016 then RMSPS are responsible for indexing the pre 88 GMP part of your RMSPS pension. In my case I believe they think (wrongly) that I received My state Pension in 2015 when I was 60.I will be contacting them to rectify the issue, but I haven’t much confidence they will without a fuss.

My pension increase notification from RMSPS of 4.9% arrived last weekend

I had mine as well said it was 2.04%. Not sure if that is because I only started receiving my pension from November 2021 ?

Yes, it will be pro rata this year and you should get the full increase from next year onwards.

I got mine on Saturday. 3.1%, which was the CPI inflation rate last September.
As inflation is now over 7% and is expected to reach 10% later in the year this means a fall in real terms.
