Part time@ 36.5hrs can't be made up to 37 hours.

If as zipmaster posted that all new starters are on a 35 hr contract but are classed as full time on psp why the did all the new opg who started from the 28/3/2022 at the national distribution center are all on 37 hr contract and yes I have seen the contract from many of the new starters

In our DO we took an hour off to get full timers down to 37 before our 'revision' and any 35 hour contracts, including myself, were made up to 37 via a temporary contract by the DOM, so that option exists.

That's partly where I have the problem with it Staff have gone fro 30-->37 but because I'm above the threshold of 35 hours I can't be made up,so effectively people have jumped ahead of my despite seniority to a FT contract....Plus there is no 36.3hr duty structure in the office.Go figure.

The point I was making is that some staff were took on last year on a 35 hr contract and we’re told they could not be given a 37 because all new staff are getting 35 hr contract and then a few months later new staff are getting took on with a 37 hr contract .

Everybody can be made up to a 37 hour contract but it is done under a temp variation of contract . The 35 hours are permanent and the two hours are on a temp variation of contract. We did two members of staff today. There is no threshold, if you are on a 36.5 contract but are signed into a 37 hr duty you should get a 30 min temp variation of contract up to 37 hours.
