It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If this is true the manager should be named and this info passed onto higher levels.

I'm not sure if the multiple thing works, if it's a genuine flaw in the system or if they've left it like that deliberately to skew the numbers but it definitely ain't right.
It makes the whole thing even more of a farce than it already is.![]()

Re: MRM.COM : The Big Trust Survey 2022
The obvious flaw here is that people can fill it out multiple times.
This will massage the participation rate, but the flip side is that it's very likely to show a higher number of negative opinions.

So would they prefer a completed survey with negative responses or refusal to complete? Just wondering whether to bother. Don't really feel like helping managers get a bonus at the moment.

From HR
Apparently they know all about the "flaw" in the system.
So at least we know when they tell us the engagement number is better this year it's basically a rigged poll.
Thank you for getting in touch regarding the Trust Survey tile enabling people to respond multiple times from various units.
We contacted the Engagement Team who are overseeing the Trust Survey and they have advised, ‘as a result of feedback from the first ‘little’ Pulse Survey last February around concerns using pay number as a unique identifier to access the survey, they have removed this as a requirement. A decision was made that it was better to encourage participation and hear from more people versus the risk that in doing so, someone could choose to complete the survey more than once.
It’s not fool proof, but on balance, the results and insights gained across the Trust Check-in’s have enabled teams to have meaningful conversations about what areas to focus action plan activity, review what is working, what isn’t and work together to make their workplace a better place for everyone.’

Re: MRM.COM : The Big Trust Survey 2022
Royal Mail made it clear that they do not trust us with this revision...
They got people to come to our depots with a laptop and decide the size of the rounds themselves having never done the rounds. They spent all that time and money on getting 'revision experts' with their computers to decide everything for us.
How about just ask the Posties. Most rounds are unlikely to need/have needed significant changes. All you had to do was make small adjustments and simply asking the Posties would have done that.
It's absolutely unbelievable.

Re: MRM.COM : The Big Trust Survey 2022
If the survey can be filled in multiple times by the same person it is apparent that the Trust Survey results cannot be trusted to accurately reflect the employees opinions, for better or worse, in comparison to last years results.
I thought last years participation results on our shift was artificially high due perhaps to agency workers being allowed to partake.
In 2018 we were told suggestions/comments on the survey could not be read out because GDPR meant their was a possibility of identifying the author!, Not to mention Action plans not implemented, "the most important part of the survey process".
I ceased to fill in the EOS since then & see no reason to change my opinion.

Re: MRM.COM : The Big Trust Survey 2022
Thank you for taking part
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Big Trust Survey.
Thanks to those who participated, 97,228 colleagues have told us what it feels like to work here, which is 69 per cent of us. That is 30,814 more of you than last year’s survey. This amazing participation rate is down to colleagues actively sharing their views.
Completing the survey is just the start. Over the next few weeks, we will be turning results into insight to determine the key areas of focus based on your feedback.
Next steps
Local results will be shared from mid-May so that your feedback, thoughts and ideas can feed into local action plans. We want to ensure that we have effective action plans across the whole business, which focus on the things that matter most to you.
This year is easier for you to see your local team results as they will now be accessible via the People App. Further instructions on how to access your team’s results will be provided at a later date.
We’re committed to joint working with the CWU on creating frontline operational action plans in collaboration with local reps, as well as the wider team.
Telling us what you think was the first step, now we need to focus on taking action.
Thank you again for your support.

Funny how it was anonymouse but our managers kept coming round harassing the people who hadn't filled it in to fill it in. Like they knew exactly who hadn't filled it out.

I very much doubt it. Not a word was mentioned about it it in our DO. If it hadn't been for this forum I wouldn't have known it was going on at all
Sooner or later, a beat dog bites.
