Looking forward to taking a nice close up of the staffy just before it bites my face off. This is a really unsafe practice being introduced for those dodgy areas with dangerous dogs. I have several addresses where after knocking with a parcel I make sure I’m right up the path and behind the gate as I know what’s coming. I’ll not be risking myself to take a picture of some boohoo shite.

Same here, not a chance I am waiting got the door to be opened and taking a picture when I know the snarling Dog is waited with just the owners foot keeping it at bay, not happenong.

It went aswell as expected today, fetched (no pun!) 4 loops back, quite proud of myself really as that's obviously what they want!

Went smoothly, knock and run sit in the van for pictures where i know theres dogs. told quite a few customers that i wasnt safe placing the parcels through the ring door bell and walked off and apologised to every one else that was in explaining that if they werent in in future they wouldnt get parcels until they had booked a redelivery and everyone was ok with it.

Made it simple really if they are in picture and go, if they arent p739 and take to the office.

What happens if you form left a customer for a parcel that requires a photo and half hour later they come find you in the next road. Surely you don't have to go back to their house and take a photo?

“Sorry mate I can’t, I have to take a picture with the front door open, so can we walk back to your front door together please and can you open it slightly so I can take a picture. Then you can have it, otherwise has to go back to office”.

“What on earth? Who runs Royal Mail. That makes no sense “.

The majority of covid test use a qk code and these have been excluded. If they use a different barcode range then photos will be required.

I imagine someone messed up when the changes were made today, then. I've no idea whether any of the test kits I delivered today had a "QK code", but EVERY test kit delivered today demanded a photo (all rapid lateral flow tests). So much for the claim from Royal Mail that the majority of Covid test kits would not require a photo on delivery. Was this a mistake in the implementation of the changes that became effective today?

The 'normal' blue and white LFT boxes didn't require a photo for me, but one test kit that was wrapped in
acres of lilac plastic did.

All of the LFTs that I delivered needed a photo today.

The only Tracked that didn't want a photo was a PCR test and a Tracked/Signature.
