I asked an eminent plastic surgeon how I could best improve my looks.
The cheeky fecker asked me if I believed in reincarnation

No i dont see us getting any money pie in the sky our office still has to make savings for this year let alone for 2008 the DOM has made it clear that the savings will be made and hes not fussed what he has to do either,he thinks that we're all taking the mick,so we have been warned, hes even tryed with the flexi working as well, the only reason he did'nt get it to work is because we explained it had'nt been agreed.

What a load of rubbish well I can tell you where I would like messers L & C to stick them . It is just a way for them to mke the buisiness look artificially good. It will make there paper work look better as we reach all the so called targets and then they will recieve even bigger bonuses. As I see it those two idiots at the top use the Royal Mail like it was thier personal cash machine

So true. Half the crap that goes on today wouldn't have seen the light of day 10 years ago, let alone 20 years ago. The problem is we are now being run as a business by businessmen who know nothing about Royal Mail.

Image-RM Share in Success Money ?-Quote "Management Guru " Allan Lieton -"Give them shares , they'll think that they have some involvement in the company and you can get away with paying them less".

Originally share bonuses were to soften people up for privatisation , the nasty way is suspensions for reps/activists on trumped up , spurious , perverse and curious grounds ,usually if there's any resistance to slashing and burning hours

Royal Mail were caught with their pants down at Christmas , trying to pour a quart jug into a pint glass , what a nasty bully of a DUM , he's only interested in keeping pressure off him from Area/Senior Mgt and trying to impress them .

As for "taking the micky " , it just highlights how dire IR are , them & us works both ways , do the job properly , he'll get the message with the cut offs -IDIOT !

Any share schemes or bonus schemes for posties are rubbish, the goal posts are always being moved. One year we got about £0.92p for this we lost loads of full time duties, overtime and SA for what?

We were told it's 4 walks and one drive got to go, and 7 volunteers to go part time (less than 29 hours per week).

Or kiss it goodbye.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

To be honest with you all ive got no illusions about the money and our DOM is so hell bent on saving hours and flexi working that i think he goes to bed chanting his mantra but as we all know these hair brain schemes about shares is bull because they are not real you cant sell them so they are worth nothing as for having a say in what the company does try it and se how far we get we will not get 400 quid and nobody thought we would, leighton and losser are just people who get massive amounts of money for screwing something that is about 340 years old.
