In the MR2020 announcement we were told we needed to reduce management population by 2,000 from a management team of 9,500. If you do the maths then it leaves us with (c)7,500 managers. Now the business is prepared to lose around 8% of those from deliveries.

My Old DO every manager took VR and they replaced them with acting Lino’s and they never got any reduction in management. So I’m not sure why they even offered the VR in the first place.

There has been talk of a few DOMs in our area being given a golden handshake over the past few weeks. No one in to replace them so the cull has already begun

Plenty of the posties at our place think they are managers - get rid of those pr1cks first and it would be a better place to work.

Not only are they not going to strike but there'll be 1400 volunteers hoping to be one of the 700 who are supposed to be going.
