It's behind you!

Godda love a business where managers do what they please against protocol.

DOM1
With the announcement this morning with regards to a recruitment ban being put in place until 4th April 2022, does this mean the rest of DILO is going to be ignored/withdrawn as well?
One of my OM's called me last night and he has a Teams Call with the DOM's at 09:30 this morning.. I have raised it to my BAC Sec.

Ricky 'Why don't senior managers listen to me' McAulay
there is no recruitment ban, DOMs will decide their supply mix based on the local knowledge and the best way to achieve the cost and productivity targets. Ricky

DOM2
nope on a call now all agency being removed, all recruitment stopped and will not be agreed/authorised southcoast

Ricky 'Why don't senior managers listen to me-please please please' McAulay
We do expect the Seasonal agency resource to drop back down in line with workload in January, we need to retain some for Sunday operations where we have gaps and also in some Units impacted by serious absence spikes.

Thank you for the feedback, that is not my understanding but let me pick up with Achim and the SDL.

Well that’s the trust survey buggered up then

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thats Trust Survey buggered actually means Thats my annual bonus buggered. Trust Survey results are linked to DOMs bonus’ for 2022 for first time i believe.

If there was a recruitment ‘ban’ then what a great time for it to he announced. Our office is planning to recruit in Jan, if this is not to happen then failures will be through the roof.

Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Ok the crux of this is - save me copy/pasting like Bob 'I miss him' Gibson on speed...

Royal Mail want DOM's to recruit, and it has not been taken out of their hands.
DOM's want to recruit because they are in the s**t.
Some parts of Royal Mail are blocking said recruitment. Because the spreadsheet says......no.
Royal Mail answers back with, yes you can recruit but you have to be productive.
Which kinda means, stop f***ing recruiting cause the wage bill is going up, just get on with it.

We need to absolutely focus on quality and balance productivity.

'Some' DOM's possibly too thick to balance properly
'Some' DOM's seriously stitched up.

Royal Mail - The gift that keeps on giving.

I think that is the least of your problems come April when there will be eye-watering increases in Gas and Electricity bills equivalent (if present forecasts are correct, could still be more!) of £10-12 per WEEK for the average consumer. :mad
