Will your office clear Friday ?
It''s increasingly looking like for the 1st time ever our place won't be clear on Christmas Eve, we've got mail left in on most of the duties so the next 2 days are going to have to get pretty quiet or we won't have a chance.

We should clear, it may be touch and go but I'm pretty sure we can do it.
That is assuming that we don't get anything from the mail centre on Thursday or Friday - any more than a few trays and half a dozen packets and we're f****d!

No chance, quite a few of the walks in our office haven’t gone out for over a week if not longer. 20+ boxes of letters and flats stacked up against frames with 2-3 yorks full of non tracked alongside it. Had another 3 test positive with COVID this week, plus others calling in sick. I’m just glad I’ll finally be leaving this job next month.

No one wants to do it, it’s been relentless all year, the whole office is demoralised and exhausted. The overtime is just not worth it.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to fail on xmas eve, but it looks like I will be able too complete....unfortunately.
Although the mail centre kindly "forgot" to bring our second wave of mail today so thursday will be awful.
