Uxbridge OPG
Good Morning Team Royal Mail,
We had an unfortunate incident that took place In Uxbridge Collection yesterday evening where an OPG was attacked and assaulted by an unknown person while clearing the pillar box.
OPG was punched on his face twice and kicked on his hip before the assailant fled away. The OPG was taken to the hospital by police. Staff in Uxbridge is been briefed.
If possible please brief your staff members in your units to be extra conscious and stay vigilant all the time, specifically working in dark conditions. It’s a festive period as a possible increase in this type of incident.
Please avoid any conflicts and provocations which can trigger unpleasant situations. Staffs health, wellbeing and security matter the most.
