Sorry could not put direct link... He should be getting done for fraud. So hes still blaming sick and covid,the managers in the office not in units hiring vans..The bloke is crackers..Funny only yr we got no hire vans and they could struggle to get some.Well its been xmas for how many yrs.All we here from him is that parcels r up 3 x times on pre pandemic .letters are up on predicated levels.How much shares r gone up .Nothing to do with you lost your bonus last yr. Bloke just lies through his teeth...

Wot happened to the 540 vans extra vans he said we had last week? Has he now realised they are probably the ones stuck in various yards waiting to be repaired/scrapped?

It was at least a month ago when I first heard we were 500 vans short and no rental companies had any to spare. Any breakdowns or servicing needed done to our fleet and you simply can't get a replacement.

Royal Mail are just forever playing catch-up with absolutely everything they do. It's always too little too late, every time with every single thing.

Or even bags! My duty is down to two now, which I have to keep replenishing from grey perstops. Which at the moment is proper messy. Twice last week I had to back to a completed loop after discovering a perstop of packets that gotten covered.
