Now i think your DOM looked at all your evidence and shat his pants... Im glad he did and i must admit im surprised.. But in a great way im happy im wrong..
Just anytime your off sick in future the reasons have to be linked...
Excellent news k66yla. There are managers who look at the evidence and make their own decisions.

It's all part being in a union just think what could happen if you did not have a rep. I use to put my case forward on my own but would not do it now to much pressure form above the DOM'S & line manager's to issue a stage warning for anything be warned be in the union.

Sorry Teebs - I only had half my RM 'diversity' training. The manager cancelled the second half after it was pointed out that Oxford MC had to go on strike for three weeks to get bullying there investigated. he claimed not to know anything about that.

k66yla wrote:My DOM decided not to issue the Stage 3, he felt I had valid reasons for being absent from work, apart from 3 days of food poisoning (a dodgy catbab) back in June. He made it clear that I should'nt go sick again for at least 6 months, unless its follow ups to the present hospital treatment I'm receiving. My union rep defended my case well. Hopefully I won't have to go through that ever again. Thanks again for all your support.
Nice one, just do your best now to not have anytime off in the next year.
I managed 17 months after mine!!
Oh and then got a stage 1
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Well done
You should now be asking your top rep to work at getting that stage 2 quashed, it should never have been issued in the first place. Ask your rep if he can get area rep to have it quashed.
The new DOM came to see me yesterday to tell me I've to attend yet another Stage 3 interview, this one was triggered by me having to go into hospital for an op, I told them in the last Stage 3 that I would be going back into hospital for tests/op. Working for this firm is like constantly
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
