Hi all,
I've just arrived back from Portugal today, and I've been told to isolate until my PCR test comes back (this rule was brought in while I was away on Tuesday). I'm due in to work tomorrow, but obviously legally I can't go.
Will this be taken from me as time I need to pay back, sick leave, or something else?
I've had quite a few sick days leave this year due to people I live with testing positive for COVID, so I'm concerned that this may impact my attendance record, but also it is the law so there is nothing I can really do. I did my PCR test as soon as I arrived back in the UK, so I will hear back at some point within in the next 48hr. I only work weekends.
Thanks

Also waiting on an email back from the Corona helpline.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
