They should also look at getting a Windows app as well. For both things that we should be able to do are:
* View (and print-off) our holiday card
* View availability of leave slots
* Book annual leave and special leave
* View past overtime (for anyone who does ot or SA)
There's probably more stuff that could be added to that list

Yesterday I got offered an extra day off today - unrequested. Grabbed it with both hands, but so far today I have been reading Royalmail chat.
.............Sad!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

So at a guess, Instead of getting told you can't have a day off you've requested on a piece of paper or in person you will get a message on the app saying you can't after your Dom has refused it?

Director of Workforce Perfmnce & Policy at Royal Mail Group
we are starting the trial in Jan/Feb at 8 units agreed with CWU. We will then review, with the intent to deploy to the rest of RMG quickly. Once a request is submitted in the app, it will go to your manager for approval. If approved, it will shown as such in the tile on the People App. So hopefully no paper required!
