With the amount of double mail we have had to take out this year. I've probably had at least 25 days of double mail. This would have saved the company a fortune. We should be rewarded with some of that. Seems they either have not bothered recruiting the staff they should have and have instead relied on us, or they simply failed with their recruitment and retainment of staff this year..... possibly because of all the double mail!

Then... Xmas...

We are banned from booking holiday during the 6 week run up to Xmas....

Some of us come in earlier....

Most of us stay out later....

The company would be a complete mess if we didn't..... our reward..... £200.

Come on! is that fair to us when we are going beyond the extra mile to keep this company alive during xmas? It should be double pay throughout the 6 weeks to Xmas.

Hope you don’t turn up early for free?

Not sure, but last year it was paid in our payslip on 18th Dec. My tip is Friday 17th Dec.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

I think that the 24th is more likely. Last year the week following the 18th had Xmas day in it so for the banking system it was a shorter week. This year the week following the 17th doesn't have Xmas day or Boxing day in it so for the banking system it'll be a normal working week
