The wheels came off our DO weeks ago. We've already skidded headlong into the big f**k off brick wall called "Christmas", and there's debris and body parts everywhere.
Those body parts could help clear the office. Or if they are really unwell, phone a helpline. :nana
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Royal Mail are simply Amazon/Yodel/DPD/Hermes etc etc by another name now who just happen to deliver letters.A sad and predictable decline of a once great company and job...but hey ho as long as the sharholders are getting their pound of flesh !!.

30 years ago we were a public service, just like you would see the department of transport out on the roads doing repairs, or seeing the council binmen out. You would see a Royal Mail van and think theres a service at work.

Back then you could join Royal Mail and after a few hard years work gain a good career with good pension, with the seniority system promising youl would have a good or easier round so by time youll have done the 32 years you can go easy on your body. And if you wanted you could go up the ladder with lots of progression to PHG or manager or both.

These days there is no progression, back breaking deliveries. People see us out and just want their parcels. No pride in the job anymore, many good workers who would have joined back in the day are now going to other careers. Many new starters have bad attitudes and poor work ethics compared to what it was like when new starters came along in years past. Royal mail is sadly dying a death, death of a career choice and death of letter service.

Now we serve the shareholders :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :thumbdown :thumbdown
