If you're told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace or the NHS COVID-19 app because you've been in contact with someone who has COVID-19:
self-isolate straight away and get a PCR test on GOV.UK as soon as possible – only leave your home to get a test

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The NHS guidance states that where an individual who is unvaccinated is identified as a close contact should self-isolate straight away. I would therefore suggest that if this occurs mid-duty then they would need to cease delivery as soon as possible.

This actually happened to me while I was out on delivery. I didn't notice until I pulled into the yard. Dropped in the keys and went straight home.
