Re: Vaccine mandate
Yes,wait to be sacked ,I’m double vaccinated but I believe it is discrimination that people are being forced or bribed to take the vaccine.
Data shows The Vaccine is clearly effective but NOT for everyone.
On a sliding scale, the younger you are the less chance of dying but around 50% Double Vacs over 80s are still dying.!
The Vaccine only lessens the severity, you still pass the Virus on and have the same viral load as unvaccinated.
So what’s the big deal if you do not wish to protect yourself?
It’s a personal choice and should remain one.

That's because their immunity is waning. That's why they're getting booster jabs. I've heard that all the boosters are Pfizer no matter whether your first two were Pfizer or Astra

Re: Vaccine mandate
Just had my booster a week ago , and it was Pfizer. Notification said it would be a choice of Pfizer or Moderna , but that isn't the case.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑13 Nov 2021, 07:22That's because their immunity is waning. Yes, when I had my booster I was told it was because Pfizer was better for the Delta variant.I've heard that all the boosters are Pfizer no matter whether your first two were Pfizer or Astra
Knocked me off my feet though for about 3 days.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Vaccine mandate
Mandate isn’t law
You cannot mandate something that you have to sign a disclaimer to take in case you know what happens

Re: Vaccine mandate
Along with choice comes the responsibility to accept the consequences of that choice.
If one of the choices not to get vaccinated means your employment can be put in peril, surely that consequence should be weighed against the perceived benefits of not being vaccinated.
But some may say, that I shouldn't be forced to have a vaccine I don't want. Similarly, why should people who have been vaccinated be forced to work with those who have exercised their right not to be vaccinated, after all the risk after vaccination is not zero, and the more unvaccinated people there are, the higher the risk to even the vaccinated.
Thoughts.

Re: Vaccine mandate
With so many adverse reactions logged in MHRA system my question is:”Where is the Quantitative Risk Assessment data and report which demonstrates that the MHRA Yellow Card Vaccine Adverse Report are NOT the result of vaccine adverse effects? Until this is produced and published the MHRA claim to be protecting public from vaccine adverse reactions is a false, misleading and dangerous claim?”...

Re: Vaccine mandate
I would agree with most of what you're saying TBT. I would raise the question that if it is assumed that unvaccinated people pose a greater risk to society as a whole, doesn't the mask wearing/social distancing/handwashing virtually bring this difference to be of little consequence?TrueBlueTerrier wrote: ↑09 Dec 2021, 08:33Along with choice comes the responsibility to accept the consequences of that choice.

I could understand it more if we were all intermingling without these measures still in place.

Re: Vaccine mandate
I havnt had the vaccine and dont want it at this present time..but..I do my best to protect myself and others at work.I obviously dont want the virus so I always wear my mask and try to socially distance whenever I can.
Most of my colleagues have had the vaccine and are now getting their boosters but i counted only 4 people today wearing masks in the office.
We are told that vaccinated people can still get the virus and transmit the virus but it seems to me a big portion of people are getting the Jabs and becoming complacent.i hope it doesn't become mandatory.it shouldn't be forced onto people.

Re: Vaccine mandate
Why do you not want it at this present time..it might be too late if your unfortunate enough to catch it. personally double vaccinated and done all the things that you are doing an i still got it never as glad in my life to have two simple jabs.wally11 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2021, 18:02I havnt had the vaccine and dont want it at this present time..but..I do my best to protect myself and others at work.I obviously dont want the virus so I always wear my mask and try to socially distance whenever I can.
