It is superfical s**** , there was B&H witnessed cases mentioned in the HYS results in Lancashire on the night shift so the place was swarming with Area . Apparently though staff had the opportunity to mention specific cases /incidents in one to one interviews , nothing was mentioned so therefore everything was hunky dory of course !

Everyone knew who the idiots were , the P***heads and druggies , two staff fighting were sacked and then came back on appeal , friends of a "colourful " manager of course ,

Complete load of b*****ks .

We had all this last year with 1,2,1 with your line manager and that did'nt work because they could'nt fit the "chats in"so it all went tits up most of the staff had said they could'nt be arsed so they struck you of the list,if they wanted the DUM to do the same it might get abit boring because most staff wont talk to him and he dont do oral with staff very well in fact he dont do anything very well apart from bullying and harrassment he does that very well.Arrogant i think thats what you call it thinks he knows everything and he knows your job better than you do. :Applause

Belial, that gives me an idea how someone could get out of having one of these 1-2-1 chats, if a polite refusal does not work, and desperate measures are required...

DUM: Would you like to do a 1-2-1 chat with me in the office ?
POSTIE: Actually, I think I must decline as I do not trust myself to be alone in the same room with you, given that I have had feelings of a sexual nature towards you that I have tried, with great difficulty over the years, to suppress.

He knows you are kidding. Or does he ? Is he going to gamble ?
Do you feel lucky, punk ? Well, DO ya ? :left:

To all inspired by the above post ,I would urge caution. Such a course of action if it was a bluff, would require detailed personal knowledge of the manager concerned, wouldn't wan't anyone to bite off more than they could chew. The consequences could be hard to swallow

TBH to me it sounds like a "tick in the box" exercise rather than a concerted attempt to raise morale or address any particular issues.

It could be made fun and interesting though. There are a lot of details I'd like to know about how my office is run, whether my manager is happy in his job, what his plans are for his future career etc.. I think I'll prepare a list of questions in case I get offered a chance to chat to him. :Very Happy
