Not heard a thing about it at our office. Had one today, posted it walked off went to submitted and it came up with a long line of text saying what I needed to do. Didn’t tell me anything until hitting the submit as delivered button, walked back took a picture of the front door and moved on. A warning before I posted would have been good.

My first parcel on 4th Nov @ 07:23 was a Dorothy Perkins parcel. Had a small "P" next to the barcode after scanning. I thought it was only Boohoo that currently get photos?

We have been briefed. It's just the extent of the brief that's lacking i.e. the amount of Brands that are included in the photo capture rollout.

My guess is that when you scan the barcode, if a photo capture is needed it'll either switch to the relevant mode/app or you'll be promoted to the the photo. I doubt it's yet know if for any given brand it'll be all items or just some items

Haven't been briefed but had one on Thursday, it's pretty self explanatory, the PDA screen displays a screen of instruction telling you
what to do - however that's no excuse for not getting a briefing. Would like to know what the official procedure is though for delivering
to communal/reception delivery points or for known dog hazard locations though? 739 it?

The dog one is the problem I had, you never know if the front door will flung open and a pooch will dart out. Safer to take a pic next to the door and retreat to a safe distance when youve knocked to see if its retrieved.

No, same here, no briefing that it was coming live. Manager and union rep also taken by surprise. Small 'p' next to tracking number is not good enough, needs to be more prominent or perhaps another beep when scanned to know it's a photo capture. Of the five i have had so far, when i pressed to capture all i got was the circle of doom for for five minutes. Again not good enough and i am already wondering how long the PDA's will cope with all this extra demand.

Not been briefed and couldn’t get more than a completely black photo in the dark. Only know about it from this forum. Was a DP parcel, all the boohoo ones I’ve had haven’t had the need for photo proof. Not my problem if they don’t bother to tell me about it.

Had another 4 on Sat .1 redirection ,which the person wasent in but could not put in there usuall place due to photo.So i did leave them a note to state safe place. 2 of the others had no p written on parcel.parcel 4 it would not take photo.pda keep returing to normal screen...
This added 20 mins on walk.Office has more parcels taken back in two day than all week.nearly all the clothes firm r owed by boo hoo.Another great idea .Does the cwu have no say no more.Oh and dont forget from the 15th we can take labels to customers .My boss said it should take less than 4 mins per parcel .From knocking door to them opening it ,then to explain and take photo.I know we fail walks everyday,not enough staff,new starter being put with new starters on same walk.staff moral low.WHO THE UCK COMES UP WITH THESE IDEAS.Our office is having a marquees put in this weekend.Bloody massive .Think its to hid all the letters and non tracked.

We'd been briefed in advance in our office, although I'd read it here beforehand. But the request to take a photo AFTER I put it through the letterbox was the first I knew I was handling a Photo Capture packet. Relieved to hear I didn't just sleepwalk through the process and miss all the signs.

Just a quick heads up, I have checked Carole's Royal Mail email address and name against Workplace (Nice hat btw) and she is the real deal.

We have lots of downloads of various SOPs and operation documents and agreements which help the guys out and in the current circumstance, this would be good for us and them.

The Union has not sent them out to us yet.

Please share the new content within your units and ensure everyone is familiar with the procedural requirements.
