What more do we all need?

There is nothing that would be more fantastic than for the RM Managers that sit (for a couple of days) in the Ivory Towers to realise that the people (ie you and me and all our workmates) on the ground floor are not happy.

VOTING YES IS THE ONLY OPTION - SFEGUARD THE NOW - SAFEGUARD THE FUTURE - SAFEGUARD YOUR JOB

VOTE YES

END OF
It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

it would be even better if they leave the Ivory Towers and come PL MDEC and do the job for a couple of days, should be a laugh as MDEC Manager can only manage 750 tasks per hour.

I had a job in a factory some time ago and that was different.
There was no one to stand up for you when you were bullied or harrassed, it just continued. The standards in general were very poor. I also worked in the building trade where it was worse.

Since I moved to the MDEC I have realised what a civilised place it is; being treated with respect and having the opportunity to put my views forward during WTL & L, HYS and during briefs. They are not always actioned for various reasons, but at least I can have my say.

There are always good and bad points to everything, including work. Unfortunately those negative people amongst us tend to only focus on the minor issues that exist at the MDEC whilst the more positive aspects are taken for granted.

I have not been in any job for more than 2 years but feel that working at the MDEC may change that.

If I fail to get job satisfaction that fits in with my private life I always have the option to move on as do others!
