Brown noser's and ar$e lickers vying for a bit of favouritism. Whatever that might be - overtime on their own round on their day off, IPS instead of trying to split 2 mega impossible duties in just 30 minutes, a conveniently overlooked customer complaint that could have warranted a bit of paperwork and kept on file that the manager didn't show you or get you to sign....ah the list is endless.

We got one or two in the section that are like "yes boss, no boss" and then when they are out on delivery then decide to talk against them, and I'm like, why didn't you just fecking tell them to do one like I would!!

Walking up a driveway, tracked PCR testing kit in hand, scanned on PDA, about to post it through the letterbox when...

Occupant opens the front door or appears from a side gate, alerted to my presence by the sound of my footsteps or the beep of the PDA. They approach me, getting to within arm's reach, before declaring "Ooh, don't come any closer, I've got Covid". The poxy thing would have gone straight through the letterbox, but they just couldn't resist.

This happened to me on two separate occasions yesterday.

Breaking off today before 1:00 to go with an Amazon prime parcel. Amazon guy already left a parcel at the door when I arrived.The customer was delighted that i was delivering her 12 new, coloured plastic coat hangers.

Meanwhile about 20 delivery points got no letters, because I had lost soo much time breaking off for SD's.

With RoyalMailChat the thing that annoys me most is the posters who complain about other posters complaining. It's as though they don't realise a forum like this is exactly where they should be complaining.

Working in a very selfish office , usual people pre revision and after , still getting away with doing the bare minimum . Now even less to do after revision .

Not exactly work-related, but I do see it a lot while I'm out delivering: The godawful erroneous apostrophe on a sign.

Really p*sses me off!

If you read the full version of your linked Wikipedia page, that is not strictly an error as apostrophes can be can be accetable in plural abbreviations to substitute for missing letters in the final word.

You also have three different places St. James' Park, St. James's Park and St. James Park in England. One of them belongs to some mediocre soccer team in the N.E., one to a slightly better one in Devon and the other is a public park.
