Can't see that being entirely correct as what about the covid test kits?yellowbelly wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 18:39Says here on RM's own website 'No collections or deliveries' in England (25-28 Dec):

That's what I thought, they aren't gonna want to pay people to do them on overtime when there's staff contracted to work that day.

Sunday 26th will also be a non service day which this year could affect more people, Again if you're on a rota that includes Sunday and it happens to be your Sunday off you won't get it back.
Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th will be bank holidays, if it's your day off you'll get it back.
Saturday 1st January, again non service with the substitute bank holiday Monday 3rd.
Now Scotland on Sunday 2nd is an interesting one because this could be the last time we get it substituted to Tuesday 4th.
If the USO were to change to a 7 day service that includes Tracked items they would probably have to decide between Sunday 2nd or Tuesday 4th for a USO exemption but it's unlikely they would get both.
It would probably be Sunday 2nd because even though most staff would have been off anyway it would allow a complete shut down on the 2nd and bring the Scottish network into line with the rest of the country on the 4th, better for the business if not the members.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
