*urgent advice needed* Christmas temp job

Post by Bethanyyy »

Hey all,

So I recently applied for a Christmas job at Royal Mail, I got through to the next stage where I need to go to my local post office for my in branch verification document checks - when checking the lady said that the last 4 digits (what we think is supposed to be my national insurance number as it’s one digit off) did not match my documents ?!? How does that work as I had to upload photos of document evidence so surely it will be the same? What do I do? I’ve tried phoning the Christmas recruitment number which says they are closed and the Christmas helpline email said they aren’t providing direct support?

Thanks in advance!

According to the information on this link there's no suggestions the PO need to check your NI No/NI documents?

What documents were they actually checking, are they all correct i.e. they show your present address etc as far as you are aware? If so, is it worthwhile trying another post office?
